Configure the shared user for customer access
Before customer users can use Direct functionality, you must configure settings associated with the employee user account being shared by the customer users.
Prerequisites:

The target user is configured as a SI Employee user. Refer to Configure a DSI Employee user for DSI Direct.

The target user has access to all Direct apps. Refer to Grant Employee users access to individual Direct apps.

The target user has the DSI_MobileClient_User role. Refer to Assign a role to a DSI Direct Employee user.
To configure the shared user necessary for customer login in Direct, complete the following steps.

In the Configuration menu, on the DSI Direct User Config tab, for DSI Direct User Email, enter the email address of the shared user account.

For DSI Direct User Password, enter the password of the shared user account.

For DSI Direct User Role ID, enter the role ID number associated with the DSI_MobileClient_User role in your environment.Step InformationImportant:This role ID is available at the end of the URL for the NetSuite record for the specific DSI_MobileClient_User role. For example, if the URL ends with "...role.nl?id=1076", then enter the value 1076 for the DSI Direct User Role ID setting. Obtain the role ID from the following location.
