Assign a role to a DSI Direct Employee user
In order for an end user to use Direct apps, you must assign a compatible NetSuite role, such as the DSI_Mobile_Client_User role, to the Employee record in NetSuite. The assigned role grants access to specific custom permissions.
To assign a role to a DSI Direct Employee user, complete the following steps in NetSuite.

Open the desired Employee record and select Edit.

On the Access tab, on the Roles subtab, in an empty line, select or enter one of the following roles.

DSI_MobileClient_User. This role grants standard employee access to DSI Direct app transaction functionality.

DSI_MobileClient_User_Enhanced_Permission. This role grants enhanced employee access to all DSI Direct transaction and configuration functionality, including the administrator-focused transactions Inventory Adjustment, Pick Management, Advanced Inventory Count Creation, and Advanced Inventory Count Review.
