Configure a Customer User for Direct
Customer users have access to Direct for NetSuite apps but no administrator features. DSI Customer users do not consume a NetSuite license.
Prerequisites:

To complete this procedure, you must be configured as a Employee user.

In the Configuration menu, configure an employee user whose credentials will be used for all Customer users. Refer to Configure the shared user for customer access.
To configure a user as a customer user in NetSuite, complete the following steps.
Postrequisite: Test the customer user's logon and ensure that the customer can view Direct and all configured apps. Note that customer users can only log in to Direct at a customer URL that is unique to your NetSuite environment. To view this URL, go to Setup > Company > Company Information > Company URLs and view the Customer Center Login URL.
