Grant Employee users access to individual Direct apps
You must specify which apps a Employee user can access from the Direct App Menu. If you do not provide access to an app, the user will not be able to view or run the app. Note that, in addition to the following configuration settings, a user must also belong to any NetSuite role in your instance in order to access Direct apps.
Prerequisite:

To complete this procedure, both you and the target user must be configured as a Employee user. Refer to Assign a Direct license to a Employee user.
Important:If running a hybrid Direct on PaaS solution, ensure that the user used to login to NetSuite, usually DSI_Rest@(COMPANYNAME).com, has access to all desired apps.
To configure the Direct apps that an employee user can access, complete the following steps in NetSuite.

Go to Direct > Configurations > Direct Configurations.

For the configuration record associated with your warehouse location, select Edit.

On the Configurations page, on the Users tab, on the DSI Employee Users tab, for the employee user that you want to modify, select Edit.

On the DSI Employee Users page, for each Direct app that you want the user to access, complete the following substeps.

On the Preferences tab, select New DSI User Preference.Step Information

On the DSI User Preference page, for Configuration, verify that the configuration record associated with your warehouse location is selected.

For User Configuration, select Apps.Step Information

For Value, select the app that you want the user to access.

Select Save.Step Information
Postrequisite: To save configuration time for future users by replicating the configured preferences, after saving your user preferences, on the Employee Users page for the configured user, select Actions > Make Copy.
