  Information to consider when designing a label.
• Create a label from a template
  The most common method used to create a new label is to start with one of the provided templates, and then make any needed changes. Enterprise Printing Platform comes with multiple demo labels that can be used as guides. Rulers are provided for assistance with placement in the designer, and lines on the rulers will show the current cursor location.
• Create a new label template
  EPP comes with some label templates that can be used, or you can create a new label template. On the Label Designer page you can create label templates and integrate barcodes, data, text, boxes, lines, and graphics.
• Upload a label (import)
  You can import a label template that has been exported from another instance of EPP.
• Download a label (export)
  You can export a label template from one instance of EPP and then import the label template into another instance of EPP.
• Define label layout
  Label layout is defined on the Page Setup window.
• About designing with label elements
  When designing a label, you can add elements such as barcodes, lines, text, shapes and images (graphics) to the label.
• Printer cutter hardware
  Enterprise Printing Platform™ 9 has the ability to enable printer cutter hardware when label data is sent to a supported printer. Often with continuous media, cutting is needed to deliver individual labels ready for placement.
