Edit communications configuration settings
You can edit the communications configuration settings in Mobile Client. This allows you to change your device ID or time-out settings, or connect to a different server or port. Beginning in 9.0 SP8, you can also clear all data files associated with the current server from your device.
To edit the communications configuration settings, complete the following steps in Mobile Client for Windows Mobile.

Go to Config > Manage communications.

Optional. To activate communications, select Communications active.

Optional. To deactivate communications, deselect Communications active.

Optional. Enable or disable Platform Metrics.

Optional. Clear local files.
