Use System Monitor to start and stop the agents, and view and monitor the daily operations and maintenance of your system. Activity can also be viewed for Platform Manager or Mobile Enterprise Platform Portal. Only activity information about licensed agents can be viewed.If there are multiple servers, the servers are listed on System Monitor. Server nodes can be expanded to see the agents for a server. Each server's agents can have settings that differ from the agent settings of other servers. Licensing Agent for the server that is the license owner is the only Licensing Agent that contacts the system for licensing information.

In System Monitor, activity for each server can be viewed, and agents can be stopped and started. Summary information can also be viewed for certain agents, when applicable. For each agent monitored, the following types of information can be viewed:  

• Summary information, if applicable, including agent name, when it was started, and CPU and memory usage. From this page, activities can be viewed.
• Activity details including, for example, activity type, description, and time of activity.

On System Monitor main page, the following for each agent is listed:

• Current status: A green icon indicates that the agent is running, a red icon indicates the agent is stopped, and a red icon with an exclamation mark indicates the agent is in an error state.
• Action: An arrow indicates the agent is stopped and can be started by clicking the arrow icon. If the agent is running, you can stop it by clicking the square icon.
• Activity Details: Displays all agent activity messages.
• View Summary: When available, displays a summary of the agent's activity.

In addition, on System Monitor main page, the following can be done:

• Set the rate at which information on this page is updated using the Refresh rate (seconds) drop-down. Or select Disabled to prevent the page from being updated.
• Select the Save Event Log button to save a log of all information in the activity queue.
