System Monitor
- About System Monitor
The System Monitor component enables reviewing the communications between the agents and their applicable connections, such as devices, the server, and the host computer.
- Save the event log
All activity messages are stored in a log, which can be saved to a file in any specified location using Save Event Log.
- View the change log
In System Monitor, the activity recorded can be viewed as a result of Change Log settings. Change Log settings define the information that is recorded for specific fields in tables, such as adding, updating, and deleting records. These changes are recorded either in Change Log table (dsiChangeLog) of the system database (if registered) or DSIChangeLog.XLog file.
- Start an agent
When an agent is started, it can communicate within the system and with the host, as needed. The Current Status column indicates whether or not an agent is started. The check mark icon indicates started, and the X icon indicates stopped.
- Stop an agent
When an agent is stopped, it cannot communicate within the system and with the host. In the Current Status column, a check mark icon indicates the agent is started and the X icon indicates the agent is stopped.
