Solution components
The Operational Insights solution includes the following components that operate in sequential order.

| OpInsights subapp | This subapp records all usage data that occurs between the OpInsights subapp within the design structure of warehouse apps. The subapp send the data strings to the Mobile Enterprise Platform Metrics database table in the cloud. Refer to About the OpInsights subapp for more information. |
| Mobile Enterprise Platform Metrics database table | This table in the cloud domain receives the usage data that was sent from the subapps in warehouse devices. This table then sends the collected data to the Oracle version of the table.

| Platform Metrics database table | The second Platform Metrics database table is an exact mirror of the first table, but it exists in an Oracle database that is maintained by the system. This table combines every collected data string with an identical transaction ID. As a result one row of usage data is created per transaction. The newly created rows are sent to the appropriate Business Intelligence fact tables.

| Business Intelligence fact tables | The Operational Insights solution contains fact tables that store, modify, and filter the imported data rows so that the dashboard can view accurate, pertinent data.

| Operational Insights solution dashboards | The Operational Insights solution dashboards can be accessed in Platform Manager. The dashboards read the data stored in the Business Intelligence fact tables and create analytics visualizations that automatically update at a pre-configured interval.
