Workflow source elements
Workflow source elements control the sequence in which the source elements of an app are executed. Using Workflow actions, you can create loops to execute a specific set of source elements or to call subroutines or variable assignments.
Following is a list of Workflow source elements and their descriptions.
Conditional
Provides conditional argument evaluations. Refer to Add a Conditional element.
Select
Determines the workflow when a condition has more than one choice. Refer to Add a Select element.
Variable
Temporarily holds data while the data is processed or until another value is assigned. Refer to Add a Variable element.
Variable Assignment
Assigns a value (data) to another app element. Refer to Add a Variable Assignment element.
Comment
Expounds or clarifies the meaning of an appropriate source element. Refer to Add a Comment element.
Function Call
Passes data to and from enterprise application programs. Refer to Add a Function Call element.
Call Form

Call Subroutine
Calls a subroutine, which is a source element or group of source elements that completes a specific task. Refer to Add a Call Subroutine element.
Call SubApp
Calls a subapp, which is a reusable set of app logic. Refer to Add a Call SubApp element.
Call Business Rule
You can add a Call Business Rule element to an application canvas to pull information from a business rule and business rule decision table. Refer to Add a Call Business Rule element.

Is Connected
Determines if the server is available and that the device can connect. Refer to Add an Is Connected element.
Platform Check
Works like a conditional so that a user can change an app's behavior based on the platform that is running the app. Refer to Add a Platform Check element.
Output
Sends collected transaction data mapped to the host application data file. Refer to Add an Output element.
Connector Entry
Specifies the entry point for a flowchart connector. Connector Entry and Connector Exit are used to make a flowchart easier to follow with fewer connecting lines. Refer to Add a Connector Entry element.
Connector Exit
Specifies the exit point for a flowchart connector. Connector Entry and Connector Exit are used to make a flowchart easier to follow with fewer connecting lines. Refer to Add a Connector Exit element.
