Form controls
Forms can use the following form controls. Beginning in 9.0 SP11, you can use form controls in form components.
Checkbox
A user interface control that allows a user to turn an option on or off. For more information, refer to Add a checkbox to a form or form component.
Button
A user interface control that allows a user to trigger an action. For example, a submit button that allows users to submit data entered into the form. For more information, refer to Add a button to a form or form component.
Panel
A user interface control that groups related controls together. For more information, refer to Add a panel to a form or form component.
Scroll view
A user interface control that can contain multiple controls and allow a user to scroll up and down from the immediate screen area. For more information, refer to Add a scroll view to a form or form component.
Radio button
A user interface control that allows users to choose among two or more options. For more information, refer to Add a radio button to a form or form component.
Text box
A user interface control that allows a user to enter text, such as a name. A text box can have default text to indicate what should be entered by the user. For more information, refer to Add a text box to a form or form component.
Label
A user interface control that provides a label for another user interface control, such as a text box. For more information, refer to Add a label to a form or form component.
Signature entry
A user interface control that provides a box on a form in which a customer or authorized person can enter a signature. For more information, refer to Add a signature entry field to a form or form component.
Tab container
A user interface control that can contain multiple tabs. Each tab can have form and data controls, such as text boxes, lists, etc. For more information, refer to Add a tab container to a form or form component.
Date picker
A user interface control that allows a user to easily choose a date from a calendar. For more information, refer to Add a date picker to a form or form component.
Image
A user interface control that allows a user to place and display images on forms. For more information, refer to Add an image to a form or form component.
Web view
A user interface control that allows a user to display the contents of a web page on the device, as long as the device has an internet connection and does not require the device to have an active connection to the Mobile Enterprise Platform server. Analytics view
A user interface control that allows a user to view analytics reports in Mobile Client, as long as the device has an internet connection. For more information, refer to Add an analytics view to a form or form component.
