Charts and Analytics View comparison
There are two controls that allow you to visually represent data within a form or form component: the Chart data control and the Analytics View form control.
The Chart data control provides charting functionality that users can view offline, depending on the defined data source. This data control also allows you to define formulas for basic data calculations, and to define filters like drop-down lists and radio buttons so that users can select how data displays in the resulting chart. Refer to About charts in a form for more information.
The Analytics View form control displays a dashboard with interactive data visualizations, allowing users to drill down into more details. You must implement Advanced Inventory Insights or connect your own analytics instance to your Mobile Enterprise Platform solution to enable this form control. Refer to Add an analytics view to a form or form component for more information.
Keep the following considerations in mind when choosing between these two options to visually represent data in forms.
