Upload and download form components
About uploading and downloading apps and app items
You can download apps and app items to your computer or flash drive and upload them into an instance of Mobile Enterprise Platform.
Apps and app items can be downloaded, which exports and saves the file. Then the app or app item can be uploaded (imported) into another instance of Mobile Enterprise Platform.
If there is a development instance of Mobile Enterprise Platform and also a production instance, the item uploaded to the production instance can skip versions. For example, an app might exist as version 5 in the production instance. The same app, edited in the development instance, might now exist as version 8. When this app is uploaded to the production instance, it uploads as version 8 (skipping from version 5 to 8).
