About local database replication
The system administrator specifies replication rules in Advanced Inventory Platform Manager to configure how data is replicated from the server to each device.
If an administrator assigns a device to a device group, only data specific to that device group is replicated to the device. By default, partial replication is performed each time 'Replicate' is selected on a device. Partial replication only includes data that has changed since the last replication. You can select 'Force full database replication' to force a complete replication of data to the device. A system administrator can also force a full replication to a specified device, or all devices, by selecting an option in Advanced Inventory Platform Manager.
Data that is replicated from the server to a device is a one-way, non-synchronized replication. The data from the server always takes precedence over the data on the device.
