About the Device Printing element
You can use the Device Printing element to enable an app to print from an Android mobile device to a local Zebra printer over a Bluetooth connection.
Android devices and Zebra printing devices use either Comtec Printer Control Language (CPCL) or Zebra Programming Language (ZPL) to communicate. Only two types of format files (.FMT and .LBL) are supported based on the printer language.
Formats supported by Android devices can be sent to a Zebra printer. Compatibility formatted stored images are converted by Zebra SDK to a format compatible with the particular printer. CPCL labels must refer to images as *.pcx and ZPL labels must refer to images as *.grf.
Advanced Inventory hardware experts can help you identify the best supported hardware to use with your Mobile Enterprise Platform solution.
Note:If the app cannot find the file in the Repository, an error will occur.
