• About Mobile Client for Android
  Mobile Client provides a container in which you can run apps that were developed in Application Studio. Mobile Client communicates with Communication Agent to obtain all of its required files, as well as transmit and receive transaction data. Mobile Client for Android runs on Android devices and uses TCP/IP communication.
• Log in to Mobile Client
  Based on your security settings, Communication Agent may need to be running for users to log in to Mobile Client. The first time you log on, you must enter a username. Depending on your system's configuration, Mobile Client may require a password. Additionally, the system administrator can enable the Remember Me feature. If Remember Me is enabled, and you select it, you can log on without re-entering your credentials. You may still be required to specify a passcode.
• Choose a promotion level and environment
  If more than one promotion level or environment is available, you are prompted to select a promotion level the first time you log in. You can manually select a new promotion level and environment later.

  The following list outlines the options available in the settings menu in Mobile Client for Android.
• Enable or disable Mobile Client settings on a Honeywell or Zebra device
  Beginning in 9.0 SP10, you can use the Android native Settings app to disable Mobile Client menu options on Honeywell and Zebra devices running Android 7 and later. This allows you to prevent all Mobile Client users from seeing specific menu items while Mobile Client is running on the device.
