About integrating DSI Platform with E-Business Suite
Mobile Enterprise Platform supports integration with the E-Business Suite ERP system using a combination of the Procedure Connector for Oracle and a series of API functions designed by Advanced Inventory. By integrating Mobile Enterprise Platform with E-Business Suite, you can allow your Advanced Inventory apps to read from and write to applicable records in E-Business Suite, in order to maintain a unified, accurate system of record.
The Procedure Connector for Oracle can register and call any E-Business Suite API on the E-Business Suite Application Server, assuming the registering user has the appropriate authority in E-Business Suite. When configuring this connector, you must specify multiple elements specific to your E-Business Suite environment, such as the app server, system number, system user name, and password.
After configuring the Procedure Connector for Oracle, you can use the connector to register all Advanced Inventory API functions that you want to use in your apps.
Lastly, for any app that must call specific Advanced Inventory API functions, you must add Function Call elements in the app's business logic. Then, configure each Function Call element to target the correct Advanced Inventory API function.
