About the Scheduler app
The Scheduler app allows you to strategically commit resources to the required tasks for a service project. Resources can include both users and equipment, and are referenced from your NetSuite data. The app displays the relevant information for each task and resource, allowing you to create an informed, optimal schedule for each task and resource in the project.
The app includes three filtering methods for all existing projects: by location, by assignment status, and by day or week. These filter options allow you to quickly locate the project you want to manage.
After selecting a project, the Scheduler app lists all tasks in the project and all company resources, allowing you to associate one or more resources with each task. The app denotes any available resources with a green indicator, so you can quickly assess resource availability.
In addition to assigning resources to tasks, you can also use the app to unassign resources from tasks, whenever necessary.
After you schedule a resource to a task, the Scheduler app writes the updated project, task, and resource settings to the applicable NetSuite records. As a result, the assigned task displays in that resource's view in the Advanced Inventory Field Service app.
