Configure third-party ASN integration for Direct
If you want your Direct apps to support label printing with advanced shipping notice (ASN) integration, you must configure the integrated behavior in NetSuite.
Prerequisites:

Your Direct solution must include label printing.

EPP 9.8.1 must be installed and configured. Refer to the Enterprise Printing Platform Setup Guide.

In EPP, fully configure your instance and create the desired EPP printers and label templates.

Cloud Inventory® must support integration with the desired third party ASN provider. Supported ASN providers are displayed in the Third Party ASN Integrations configuration element dropdown.
To configure ASN integration with Direct, complete the following steps in NetSuite.

Go to Direct > Configurations > Direct Configuration and select Edit for the desired configuration record.

On the Configurations page, at the top of the screen, for Company Prefix, enter a prefix for your company.Step InformationNote:This prefix is received by the ASN provider and is required for the integration.

In Configurations, for each app that you want to configure for ASN integration, complete the following substeps.

On the Apps tab, to configure an app, select Edit.

On the DSI Installed Apps screen, on the Preferences tab, select New DSI App Preference.

On the DSI App Preference screen, for Configuration, select the desired configuration record.

For Third Party ASN Integration, select the desired ASN provider.

For ASN Provider Code, verify that the code automatically populated in the field.

Select Save.

For each package type that you want to configure for ASN integration, complete the following substeps.

Navigate to the DSI App Pref Packages record associated with the desired package type.

For Third Party Package ID, enter the ID for the package type associated with the ASN provider.Step InformationNote:This setting maps third party package types to Cloud Inventory® package records.

Select Save.

To configure a customer record for ASN integration, on the customer record for the customer associated with the order, on the Custom tab, select Send ASN Notification.Step InformationNote:Repeat this step for every customer record that you want to configure.

Optional. If you experience issues with the ASN integration, ensure that all item fulfillment records associated with the order are successfully created in NetSuite.
