Mobile Client for Windows PC

The following specifications apply to Mobile Client for Windows PC, the client that runs applications on the Windows operating system.

Operating systems

Mobile Client for Windows PC runs on the Windows 7 SP1, 8.1, 10 (1607+), and 11 operating systems.

For Mobile Client for Windows PC, both .NET 3.5 SP1 and .NET 4.8 must be installed on the device.

Mobile Client for Windows PC supports desktop and tablet smart devices that run a supported Windows operating system.
Devices with attached scanners, such as USB or Bluetooth scanners, are implemented through third-party wedge software that sends scan data to the keyboard buffer.
Connecting additional equipment to the device, such as a shipping scale, is also an option through the Custom API.

You can download Mobile Client for Windows PC from Platform Manager (Monitor > Devices > Download Mobile Client PC) and install it on a device.
Alternately, you can use a third-party Mobile Device Management (MDM) software to provision devices.
