Manage repository folders
Create a folder in the repository
The repository is a place to store files that can be used in apps or app items. Beginning in 9.0 SP6, you can create folders within the file repository.
To create a folder, complete the following steps in Advanced Inventory Platform Manager.

Go to Develop > Application Studio.

Select the Library view.

In the left rail, select Repository.

To create a new subfolder, right-click a folder in the tree view and select New Folder.Step InformationNote:You can create a folder within any folder in the repository, including the root folder.

Enter a name for the folder, and then press Enter.
Rename a repository folder
The repository is a place to store files that can be used in apps or app items. Beginning in 9.0 SP6, you can rename folders within the file repository.
To rename a repository folder, complete the following steps in Advanced Inventory Platform Manager.
Important:Apps and app items that use repository items reference the full repository filepath. This includes the name of any folders that contain the item. The reference to a repository item breaks if you change the filepath of a file that is used in an app or app item. To view a list of references for an item, refer to Find references in Application Studio.

In the left rail, select Repository.

In the tree view, right-click the folder you want to rename.

Select Rename.

Enter a new name for the folder, and then press Enter.
Move a repository folder
The repository is a place to store files that can be used in apps or app items. Beginning in 9.0 SP6, you can move folders in the file repository.
To move a repository folder, complete the following steps in Advanced Inventory Platform Manager.
Important:Apps and app items that use repository items reference the full repository filepath. This includes the name of any folders that contain the item. If you change the filepath of a repository item, any references to that item break. To view a list of references for an item, refer to Find references in Application Studio.

Go to Develop > Application Studio.

Select the Library view.

In the left rail, select Repository.

In the tree view, select the folder you want to move, and then drag and drop it to the new location.
Delete a folder from the repository
The repository is a place to store files that can be used in apps or app items. Beginning in 9.0 SP6, you can delete folders from the file repository.
To delete a folder from the repository, complete the following steps in Advanced Inventory Platform Manager.
Important: If you delete a repository item that is used in an app or app item, the reference to the repository item breaks. To view a list of references for an item, refer to Find references in Application Studio.

Go to Develop > Application Studio.

Select the Library view.

In the left rail, select Repository.

In the tree view, right-click the folder you want to delete.

Select Delete.

On the confirmation message, select OK.
