Nextworld Module Settings
About Nextworld Module Settings
When using Nextworld's Identity Management, the Nextworld Module Settings functionality enables you to import the Cloud Inventory® module settings into the Mobile Enterprise Platform as configuration elements. This is licensed functionality. Please contact your Cloud Inventory® representative to add this functionality to your system.
Nextworld Module Settings
Nextworld uses Module Settings to define configurations that can be used in applications, and the settings can be defined at a Global level, Org Unit level, or User level. Cloud Inventory® mobile applications use these module settings to determine behavior within the app.
Once Module Settings are created in the Nextworld platform, you import them into the Mobile Enterprise Platform by accessing Admin > Configuration > Security Settings, then choosing the Nextworld tab. Scroll down to access the Module Settings section.

Note:The system checks for changes to the Module Settings every hour by default. You can change the synchronization timing by accessing Admin > Configuration > System Settings > Nextworld Settings > Nextworld Module Settings Sync Interval. In addition, you can trigger a manual synchronization from that path.
Manually Sync Nextworld Module Settings
You can manually sync the Module Settings at any time.

Note:Nextworld Module Settings cannot be changed in MEP, and therefore are hidden in most places that Configuration Elements are displayed. You can, however, reference the settings as configuration elements in the Formula Editor.
