About Analytics Agent

Analytics Sessions define when to send data from the database tables to Cloud Inventory® Cloud Inventory®, and Analytics Agent runs the Analytics Sessions.

Event data is sent to Cloud Inventory® Cloud Inventory® when Analytics Agent and Communication Agent are running, and an Analytics Session exists. Because Analytics Agent monitors Analytics Sessions, we recommend that you schedule the agent to run when a session is scheduled to occur.
