About Mobile Client
Mobile Client runs on devices and provides end users access to Advanced Inventory apps. Users can access apps based on their authentication credentials and role. Some Mobile Client also support local data storage, allowing users to run apps while in an offline mode.
Mobile Client can be installed by a user or system administrator. Depending on the device type, you can download Mobile Client from an app store, or use Device Loader on a computer running Advanced Inventory Platform Manager.
Within the client, users sync up with the Mobile Enterprise Platform server. This allows users to receive the latest deployed versions of their apps without updating the client itself.
Mobile Client can support physical and virtual keyboards, barcode scanners, and RFID readers.
App deployment options
There are two basic app deployment options within Mobile Client: multi-app and single app.
In a multi-app deployment, Mobile Client hosts all of the apps that are available to the authenticated user.
In a single-app deployment, Mobile Client supports the app's services and local data storage, but is distributed as a native application that stands on its own.
Both deployment types include user configuration options.
Native clients
Native clients are available for iOS, Android, Windows PC, and Windows Mobile.

Browser-based client
Mobile Client for HTML5 is browser-based, and runs on any device and operating system that supports the latest version of Chrome, Safari, or Edge. This version of the client can support all Advanced Inventory app types, including wires, forms, and prompt-response apps.
