Work Order Employee Time Entry interface for JD Edwards
Processing options
The following processing options are available for this interface.
The dream writer version will default to ZJDE0001 if not otherwise specified in the parameter list on the call.
Performing this transaction requires the following parameters:
-
cdcLINKActionCode_EV01 contains a “0”, “2”, or “7” (this parameter will default to 0 if left blank).
-
mnDocumentOrderInvoiceE_DOCO is the Work Order's document number.
-
mnEmployeeNumber_AN8 contains the employee number of the person performing the operation.
-
mnSequenceNoOperation_OPSQ holds the sequence number for the operation being recorded
cTypeOfHours_TYR allows the entry of the type of hours being recorded. If the value is a “1”, then an entry in parameter mnHoursWorked_HRW is required. When the type of hours is a “4”, mnUnitsQuantityShipped_SOQS must contain a number. mnMiscDollars_EPAY is to be used when the type of hours is “9”.
When using the cdcLINKActionCode_EV01 value of “0”, the parameter that simulates the pressing of the Update button (cBTNUpdate_EV02) may optionally contain a value of “1” to perform simultaneous updating of the applicable files. But when the cdcLINKActionCode_EV01 parameter contains a “2”, then the use of cBTNUpdate_EV02 becomes mandatory and must contain a “1”. Any value other than “1” will be ignored by the interface.
Note that the cBTNUpdate_EV02 flag simulates the Update button on the Time Entry Revisions form and not the button on the Work With Work Order Time Entry form in EnterpriseOne. There is significant difference between the functionality of the two buttons.
Defaults tab
-

Processing
The characteristics of an item determine which processing fields are required by the interface.
Some characteristics are set at the item master level, and some are set at the item/branch level. The item/branch level always takes precedence over the item master. Refer to the Special Processing Interface Usage Guide for more information.
Verifying the processing
Hours and Quantities (2G3112) may be used to verify a dcLINK® Work Order Employee Time Entry transaction.
