About Inventory Inquiry

Inventory Inquiry allows you to search for inventory items in the warehouse and view various details for them.

This app retrieves one or more inventory items based on the entered item number or subinventory. You can view the following details for each retrieved item.

Organization
Subinventory
Locator
Item ID
Item description
On hand quantity
Available quantity
Receiving quantity
Inbound quantity
Lot numbers
Serial numbers

Search for an inventory item by item number

You can use Inventory Inquiry to search for details about inventory items.

To search for an inventory item by its item number, complete the following steps in the app.

For Organization, verify or enter your organization.

Step Information

Note:Depending on the app's configuration settings, this prompt may not display. If this occurs, the app selects the default organization configured in Mobile Enterprise Platform.
When prompted to select Item or Subinventory, select Item.
For Item, scan or enter all or part of the desired item number.
If multiple items are displayed, select the desired item from the list.

Results: The app displays the following data records for the item.

Organization
Subinventory, if subinventory-controlled
Locator, if locator-controlled
Item Number
Item Description
On Hand Quantity
Available Quantity
Receiving Quantity
Inbound Quantity

In addition, you can use function keys to view the lot numbers and serial numbers, if any, associated with the inventory item.

Search for an inventory item by subinventory

You can use Inventory Inquiry to search for details about inventory items using the associated subinventory as search criteria.

To search for an inventory item by its associated subinventory, complete the following steps in the app.

For Organization, verify or enter your organization.

Step Information

When prompted to select Item or Subinventory, select Subinventory.
For Subinventory, scan or enter the desired subinventory.

Expected Result

Result: A list of available items associated with the specified subinventory displays.
Select the desired item from the list.
