UPS Shipping configuration elements
The following configuration elements are installed with the UPS Shipping solution. In Mobile Enterprise Platform, configure the settings as necessary for every user you want to run the app. These configuration elements have no default values.
UPS_USERNAME
Specifies the UPS user name for the end user.
Value level: User
UPS_PASSWORD
Specifies the UPS password for the end user.
Value level: User
UPS_ACCESS_LICENSE_NUM
Specifies the UPS access license key.
Value level: User
UPS_ACCOUNT_NUMBER
Specifies the UPS account number for the end user.
Value level: User
UPS_SHIPPER_NUMBER
Specifies the six digit account number for the shipper.
Value level: User
UPS_SHIPADD_ADDRESS1
Specifies the first line of the street address for the shipping destination.
Value level: User
UPS_SHIPADD_ADDRESS2
Specifies the second line of the street address for the shipping destination.
Value level: User
UPS_SHIPADD_CITY
Specifies the city for the shipping destination.
Value level: User
UPS_SHIPADD_COUNTRY
Specifies the country for the shipping destination.
Value level: User
UPS_SHIPADD_POSTAL
Specifies the ZIP postal code for the shipping destination.
Value level: User
UPS_SHIPADD_STATE
Specifies the state for the shipping destination.

UPS_SHIPFROM_ADDRESS1
Specifies the first line of the street address for the shipper.
Value level: User
UPS_SHIPFROM_ADDRESS2
Specifies the second line of the street address for the shipper.

UPS_SHIPFROM_ATT_NAME
Value level: User
Specifies the Attention text for the shipper.
Although 35 characters are accepted, only the first 30 characters can be printed on a return shipment label.
UPS_SHIPFROM_CITY
Specifies the city for the shipper.
Value level: User
UPS_SHIPFROM_COUNTRY
Specifies the country for the shipper.
Value level: User
UPS_SHIPFROM_NAME
Specifies the name for the shipper that is displayed on a return shipment label. Only the first 30 characters can be printed on a label.

UPS_SHIPFROM_POSTAL
Specifies the ZIP postal code for the shipper.
Value level: User
UPS_SHIPFROM_STATE
Specifies the state for the shipper.

USPS_ENDORSEMENT
Value level: User
Specifies the USPS Endorsement Option. The following values are valid.

This configuration element is required for the UPS Mail Innovations feature.
UPS_SHIPMENT_CHARGE_TYPE
Specifies the UPS shipment charge type. This app requires the shipment charge type 01: Transportation.

Specifies the UPS ship type attention text.

UPS_SHIPTYPE_NAME
Specifies the UPS ship type name.

UPS_SHIPTYPE_PHONE
Specifies the UPS ship type phone number.

UPS_COSTCENTER
Value level: User
Specifies the customer assigned identifier for the Cost Center to display report and billing summaries.
This configuration element is required for the UPS Mail Innovations feature.
UPS_REQUESTOPTION
Value level: System Only
Specifies the UPS request option. Enter one of the following options.

nonvalidate: No street level address validation is performed, but a Postal Code and State combination validation is still performed.
-
validate: No street level address validation is performed, but a combination validation of City, State, Postal, and Code is still performed.
UPS_PRINT_LABEL
Value level: User
Determines whether to print the label when calling the ProcessShipment API. To successfully print a label, enter 1 as the value for this configuration element.
Any other value prevents the API from running. This option may be useful when testing the app integration with UPS.
UPS_REST_URL
Enables the UPS web service to allow either the development environment or the production environment to call UPS. In this configuration element, enter the URL for either the development or the production environment.
