About Route Management
The Route Management app lets you define and organize route schedules for company resources, such as a delivery driver or service technician. It also enables you to track items needed at each customer stop defined for a route.
For example, you might define the route and customer stops for the driver of a refrigerated truck. You can schedule each customer stop to occur on specific days of the week, such as Tuesdays and Thursdays, and to organize the stops in the needed order.
Customer templates simplify the process, storing information about each customer and the items the customer usually orders. Item information includes the item name, number, quantity, and unit of measure.
By replicating data to the appropriate local device database, item information entered in to Route Management can populate customer sales orders in the Route Sales app. Data generated by Route Management can also be integrated to a custom app that you create.
