Shipment Pick User Guide
About Shipment Pick
The Shipment Pick app allows you to report picking for a part in a Shipment associated with a Customer Order. The app reserves the part, creates a pick list, and reports picking for the selected part. The selected part is then moved to the new location in your inventory.
You can use the app to specify information about the Shipment, Customer Order, and the part to be picked. This can include the Shipment number, Customer Order number, part number, handling unit, serial number, lot number, location, quantity, and shipment location. You can only specify the serial number for parts that are serial tracked, and the lot number for parts that use lot tracking.
The app then submits the transaction and updates your IFS instance with information about the picked part.
This app only displays data for Shipments recorded in your IFS instance. Before you run the Shipment Pick app, your IFS instance must contain a Shipment with a status of "Preliminary". The Shipment must be connected to a Customer Order in your IFS instance.
