Configure label printing for the IFS baseline apps
Some IFS baseline apps include label printing functionality via integration with EPP. Before you can print from these apps, you must configure specific settings in Cloud Inventory® Platform and EPP.
Prerequisites:

EPP must be installed and configured. Refer to the Enterprise Printing Platform Setup Guide.

Each label printer you want to use must be configured in EPP. In EPP, fully configure your instance and create the desired EPP printers.

Each label printer you want to use must be configured in Cloud Inventory® Platform. Refer to Define printers.
To configure label printing for the IFS baseline apps, complete the following procedures.

In Cloud Inventory® Platform, register the following tables to the desired environments. For steps, refer to Register database tables.

Print Queue table (FD3N920)Note:The Print Queue table sends information to the Printing Agent. For more information, refer to About Printing Agent.

Printing Workbench table (FD3N925)Note:The Printing Workbench table receives information about records that failed to print and their associated error messages. For more information, refer to About Printing Workbench.

In Cloud Inventory® Platform, set the value of the _IFS_PRINT configuration element to ON. For steps, refer to Assign values to a configuration element for a user or organization.

In EPP, create a data dictionary for IFS, and then add a field for each field in IFS you want to print. For steps, refer to Create a data dictionary.

In EPP, create a template for each type of label you want to print, and add the fields from the data dictionary that you want to add to the label. For steps, refer to Create a label template.

Optional. To print inquiry labels, in Cloud Inventory® Platform, set the value of the IFS_PRINT_INQUITY_LABEL configuration element to the exact name of the inquiry template you created in EPP. For steps, refer to Assign values to a configuration element for a user or organization.

Optional. To print location labels, in Cloud Inventory® Platform, set the value of the IFS_PRINT_LOCATION_LABEL configuration element to the exact name of the location template you created in EPP. For steps, refer to Assign values to a configuration element for a user or organization.
