Print Inquiry User Guide
About Print Inquiry
The Print Inquiry app allows you to print a label for a part in your warehouse.
You can use the app to specify information about the part. This can include the part's location, part number, serial number, or lot number. You can only specify the serial number for parts that are serial tracked, and the lot number for parts that use lot tracking. You must also specify the printer, and quantity of labels to print.
The app sends the information you entered to the Print Queue table in Cloud Inventory® Platform. Cloud Inventory® Platform then sends the information from the Print Queue table to EPP, which prints each requested label. The data contained in each label is based on the EPP template for that label. You can use the IFS_PRINT_INQUITY_LABEL configuration element to specify the name of the EPP template to use for inquiry labels.
This app displays data only for warehouse inventory items recorded in your IFS instance.
