Move Inventory Part User Guide
About Move Inventory Part
The Move Inventory Part app allows you to move a product from one location to another location in the same site, or in another site. You can also move inventory into 'Transit'.
You can use the app to specify information about each part you want to move. This can include the part number, serial number, lot number, the location in which the part is currently located, the location to which you want to send the part, and quantity. Based on your app configuration, some of this information may be auto-populated. You can only specify the serial number for parts that are serial tracked, and the lot number for parts that use lot tracking.
The app then moves the part you specified and updates your IFS instance with the movement information.
This app only displays data for warehouse inventory items recorded in your IFS instance. Before you run the Move Inventory Part app, your IFS instance must contain a part with available quantity to move, and a site that is both connected to your user ID in IFS and defined as an allowed site for the project.
