Media setup
Copy media
Media Setup is provided for setting the types of ribbon and labels that can be used with the printers. Media can be copied and renamed to streamline setup.
To copy media, complete the following steps in EPP.

From the application header, select Admin > Printer Admin > Media Setup.

On the Media Definition Setup page, select the item you need to copy.

Select Copy.

Enter a new description for the media and edit any of the fields as desired.

Click Save.
About media setup
On the Media Setup page, you can set up the types of ribbon and labels that will be used with the printers.
Information about the labels and ribbons used in the printers can be entered in the media setup section. This allows for information such as type, unit of measure, and size of rolls to be entered, and then tracked by the system.
Add media
Media Setup is provided for setting the types of ribbon and labels that can be used with the printers. This is done by adding and defining the media.
To add media, complete the following steps in EPP.

From the application header, select Admin> Printer Admin > Media Setup.

On the Media Definition Setup page, select Add.

Under Description, enter a description of the media item.Expected ResultResult: This value will appear in the Label or Ribbon Media dropdown fields in the Printer Setup window.

Under Media Type, select either Ribbon or Label.

Under Unit of Measure, select either Inches or Label.Step InformationNote:Continuous labels, and the Ribbon media type are usually measured in inches. Fixed size labels may be reported in labels.

Under Size of Full Roll, enter the size of a full role in inches or labels.ExampleExamples: A 1500 inch ribbon, or 350 labels on a roll.

Optional. Select Default to designate a default ribbon or label type.Step InformationNote:Only one default is allowed for each media type.Expected ResultResult: The Label or Ribbon media fields in the Printer Setup window are populated with these default settings.

To report the usage to the inventory system, select Report Usage.

Select Save.
Edit media
Media Setup is provided for setting the types of ribbon and labels that can be used with the printers. After media is added, certain fields may be edited.
To edit media, complete the following steps in EPP.

From the application header, select Admin > Printer Admin > Media Setup.

On the Media Definition Setup page, select the item you need to edit.

Select Edit.

Delete media
Media Setup is provided for setting the types of ribbon and labels that can be used with the printers. Media can be deleted when it is no longer needed.
To delete media, complete the following steps in EPP.

From the application header, select Admin > Printer Admin > Media Setup.

In the Media Definition Setup list, select the item you need to delete.

Select Delete.

In the Confirm Delete window, select Yes.
