Log settings
You can change log settings in the Log Settings window.
Levels
The logging levels for each area. Log files are saved in the logs folder and can be printed. Each log file includes a minimum of a date/time stamp, event ID and IP address.

Normal logging provides high level information about events.

Detailed logging provides more specific information about events, which can be helpful for debugging purposes.
Purge
The following fields related to log purge settings can be populated on the Purge tab.Log purge method
You can define the log purge schedule by Time Period or File Size.

Time Period allows you to choose a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule to purge log files.

File Size allows you to schedule a purge when log files exceed the Max Log File Size in MB.
Time Period
Purging by Time Period allows you to choose a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule to purge log files. The log file is copied to a backup and then cleared from your system at 12:00 a.m. using the time zone where the server is located.
Default: Week
Max Log File Size (MB)
Purging by File Size allows you to schedule a purge when log files exceed the Max Log File Size in MB. Log files will be maintained until they reach the size limit.

The minimum size limit is 1 MB.

The maximum size limit is 100 MB.
Default: 10 MB
Number of Backups to Keep
The maximum number of log file backups saved in the logs directory.
Default: 1
Enhancement Engine Purge
Maximum Successful Logs to Retain
The maximum number of successful logs you want to retain.
Default: 50
Maximum Failure Logs to Retain
The maximum number of failure logs you want to retain.
Default: 999
Number of Days to Retain Successful Logs
The number of days to retain success logs.
Default: 5
Number of Days to Retain Failure Logs
The number of days to retain failure logs.
Default: 30
Audit Log
On the Audit Log tab, you can turn logging on for label template and data dictionary changes. Once turned on, auditing cannot be turned off.Log changes to labels and dictionaries
