Configure log settings - EPP Version 10.0.0.0 to 10.0.0.15
You can configure a number of settings for log files, such as whether logging is detailed, when the files should be purged, and how many backups to keep.
To configure log settings, complete the following steps in EPP.

Go to Admin > System Configuration > Logging.

On the Levels tab, for each area that can be logged, complete one of the following actions.

To log high level information about events, select Normal.

To log detailed information about events for debugging purposes, select Detailed.
Expected ResultResult: Log files are saved in the logs folder and can be printed. Each log file includes a minimum of a date/time stamp and event ID. -

On the Purge tab, under Log Purge Method, complete one of the following actions.

To schedule a daily, weekly, or monthly purge, select By Time Period.

To schedule a purge when log files exceed a maximum file size, select By File Size.

Optional. If you selected By Time Period above, under Time Period, complete one of the following actions.

To schedule a daily purge, select Daily.

To schedule a weekly purge, select Weekly.

To schedule a monthly purge, select Monthly.
Expected ResultResult: The log file is copied to a backup and then cleared from your system at 12:00 a.m. using the time zone where the server is located. -

Optional. If you selected By File Size above, under Max Log File Size (MB), enter the maximum file size.Step InformationNote:The minimum size limit is 1 MB. The maximum size limit is 100 MB.

Under Number of Backups to Keep, enter the number of log files you want to save in the logs directory.

On the Enhancement Engine Purge tab, under Maximum Successful Logs to Retain, enter the number of successful logs you want to retain.

Under Maximum Failure Logs to Retain, enter the maximum number of failure logs you want to retain.

Under Number of Days to Retain Successful Logs, enter the number of days to retain successful logs.

Under Number of Days to Retain Failure Logs, enter the number of days to retain failure logs.

Optional. To permanently turn on logging for label template and data dictionary changes, on the Audit Log tab, select Log changes to labels and dictionaries.Step InformationImportant:Once turned on, auditing cannot be turned off.

Select Save.
