Formatter settings
You can edit the following Label Formatter settings in the Formatter settings window.
Standard Options
Delimiter Character
The delimiter character in data files that need a field separator. You can use any ASCII character.
Default: ~
Trim Spaces
You can select this to remove leading and trailing spaces in the incoming data from the printed label.
Spaces coming before the first character, or after the last character, are removed.
Embedded spaces will print.
Multiple spaces between characters are left alone.
If Wrap Text is enabled for text fields, all extra spaces are removed, including multiple spaces between characters.
Trim Quotes
You can select this to remove leading and trailing quotation marks in the data file from the printed label.
PCL Tray Mappings
Define the tray from which the print job prints to a PCL printer. Trays are addressed in the PCL language by a number which is associated with a name for the tray. System administrators can change the number in printer configuration files.
