Configure socket listener settings
Socket Listener settings allow the application to be configured to accept XML documents in the *.DTD format (Oracle DTD label data). It is best practice when sending .xml requests that you include only one label per request.
Complete the following steps to configure socket listener settings in EPP.

From the EPP application header, select Admin > System Configuration > Input Agents, and then double-click Socket Listener.

To indicate the startup behavior of the Socket Listener Agent, under Startup Type, select one of the following types.

If you want the agent to start when the application starts, select Automatic.

If you want the agent to start when you select Start Agent on the File Drop Settings window, select Manual.Note:To stop the agent, select Stop Agent on the Socket Listener settings window.

To turn off Socket Listener Agent functionality until you reset the Startup Type to Automatic or Manual, select Disabled.

Under Socket Port, enter an integer value from 1 to 65535.Expected ResultResult: If the port selected is already in use, an error message is displayed.

Optional. Under Initial Number of Threads, enter an integer value.Step InformationNote:The value may not exceed the value in the Maximum number of Threads field.

Optional. Under Maximum Number of Threads, enter an integer value from 1 to 99.

Select Save.
