If the "Create Wave Item Fulfillments" configuration element is enabled for Order Pick - Wave, then the app automatically generates a fulfillment whenever all items associated with a sales order are completely picked.

If the "Create Wave Item Fulfillments" configuration element is disabled for Order Pick - Wave, then the app never creates fulfillments, so they must be manually created. The manual fulfillment creation method grants you more control over when items can be packed. In addition, when a single sales order is associated with multiple assigned picking waves, this method allows you to pack and ship any waves that are completely picked before the full sales order is picked. This may be a valuable practice when your inventory does not have the full quantity of inventory items required by a sales order, and you want to ship out a partial sales order.

In order to manually create fulfillments for waves, you must disable the "Create Wave Item Fulfillments" configuration element for the Order Pick - Wave app. Then, after waves have been picked, you can open the Fulfill Waves custom record in NetSuite and manually create fulfillments for each wave.
