Direct for NetSuite 18.1.6 release

These notes describe the enhancements included with Direct for NetSuite 18.1.6.

Enhancements

Direct now allows NetSuite users with any NetSuite role to access Direct apps, as long as those users are also configured to access those apps in the Direct Configurations menu.
The Default Adjustment Account configuration element now allows NetSuite accounts with any Type except Bank or Credit Card.

Direct for NetSuite 18.1.5 release

These notes describe the enhancements included with Direct for NetSuite 18.1.5.

Enhancements

Inventory Count Creation app:
- The app now supports count creation using a NetSuite Saved Search.
- The app now displays both On Hand and Available quantities for each item.
- The app now includes enhanced processing for high volume counts.
Inventory Count Entry app:
- The app now takes a snapshot of all On Hand and Available quantities for each item when the count begins.
- The app now updates the status for a started, unfinished count from "Started" to "In Process."
Inventory Count Review app:
- The first screen of the app now includes location filtering.
- The app now displays both On Hand and Available quantities for each item.
- The app now includes enhanced processing for high volume counts.
- The app now calculates the variance by comparing the On Hand quantity snapshot with the counted quantity.
- General enhancements to user experience, such as improved error messaging.
Order Ship app:
- The app now supports SSCC packing, labeling, and shipping.
- The app now allows users to print an individual label for each packed box in a sales order.
- The app now supports box unpacking from the summary screen.
- When a user unpacks a box from the summary screen, the app now returns the user to the packing screen.
- General enhancements to user experience, such as updating the style and arrangement of components onscreen.

Direct for NetSuite 18.1.4 release

These notes describe the enhancements and resolved issues included with Direct for NetSuite 18.1.4.

Enhancements

Inventory Adjustment app:
- General enhancements to user experience, such as updating the arrangement of components onscreen.
Inventory Count Creation app:
- Now provides finalized compatibility with NetSuite Saved Search.
- The app now validates every filter value as soon as the user inputs the value. As a result, the app now indicates any invalid value entries and any additionally required field dependencies for the selected filter.
- The Next Count Date and Last Count Date filters now include date picker tools. These tools submit the specified date in the format required by NetSuite.
- For the Next Count Date and Last Count Date filters, the Before, After, and On radio buttons for each do not display until the user specifies a date. In addition, when using these date filters, users cannot proceed to the next screen without selecting a radio button.
- The Item filter now returns all item numbers and descriptions containing the specified value, rather than only item numbers and descriptions starting with the specified value.
Inventory Count Entry app:
- The app now includes a Refresh button that updates the count to display changes submitted by other users. This new feature allows multiple users to run the app simultaneously.
- Before users can complete a count, the app now validates that every item in the count has received a count quantity.
- The app now allows users to add found items to a count. When this occurs, the app validates to verify that the entered inventory item record exists and has the necessary configuration to be added to the warehouse area. For example, users cannot add a non-bin-controlled item to a bin.
- The app now validates item inventory details added by users.
- General enhancements to user experience, including updated loading spinners and a fully expanded list of inventory items by default.
- The summary screen now displays all anticipated inventory adjustments resulting from the count.
Inventory Count Review app:
- Now allows users to filter the list of available counts by location.
Order Pick app:
- General enhancements to the user experience, such as improving app efficiency.
Purchase Order Receipt app:
- Finalized printer support functionality.

Resolved issues

Inventory Count Entry app:
- Now allows a count of "0" for items.
Location Transfer app:
- Removed requirement to select a destination bin when transferring only non-binned items.

Direct for NetSuite 18.1.3 release

These notes describe the enhancements included with Direct for NetSuite 18.1.3.

Enhancements

All apps with inventory item entry fields now provide scanning support for UPC number entry.
Direct now includes two apps providing bin transfer functionality.
- Bin Transfer - Scan allows users to move a large number of items from one bin to another bin. This app supports quantity increment on scan functionality, and is entirely operational using a scanner.
- Bin Transfer allows users to move items from one bin to multiple destination bins, simultaneously.
Inventory Count Entry app:
- Lot validation functionality is now available. This prevents users from adding new lot numbers or serial numbers to an item being counted.
Order Ship app:
- Packing functionality now supports packing the same item number for multiple lines in a single package.

Direct for NetSuite 18.1.2 release
