About Direct for NetSuite
The Direct for NetSuite solution offers seamless native workflows that facilitate inventory processes for your warehouse and inventory management requirements. By existing and operating directly in NetSuite, Direct facilitates a unified system of record for inventory.
Examples of Direct apps include Advanced Inventory Count Entry, Order Pack, and Bin Transfer - Scan. Cloud Inventory® has organized the apps into bundles, along with add-on options, to provide your organization flexibility in how to best meet business needs. A user can access the Direct App menu from any device with access to a supported web browser, and then complete the desired warehouse transactions using the mobile-friendly Direct apps.
Your organization's NetSuite administrator can install, configure, and test Direct in your NetSuite instance without needing to use any intermediary software. Additionally, the Cloud Inventory® team is here to help through all of the implementation steps. This includes recommendations on how best to configure your Direct apps for your organization's needs.
Integration with Cloud Inventory® Platform
Additionally, you can integrate your Direct for NetSuite solution with Cloud Inventory® Platform to further extend your app and configuration options. This enables users to seamlessly run both Direct for NetSuite apps and Cloud Inventory® Platform apps in DSI Mobile Client for HTML5. This integrated solution is supported on both desktop and mobile devices. Contact your Cloud Inventory® representative for details.
For example, your warehouse processes require wave picking from a carousel. Your organization has developed a Cloud Inventory® Platform app that meets this specific warehouse process. A user runs the Direct for NetSuite Pick Management app to create a pick wave for a sales order. Then, another user runs the Cloud Inventory® Platform app to pick the wave using the carousel. Both users run these apps in Mobile Client for HTML5 on the device that best meets their needs.
Direct for NetSuite customer-specific modifications statement
For any NetSuite instance with substantial back-end customization, additional service hours will be required from the Cloud Inventory® team to align your Direct for NetSuite solution with your customized NetSuite environment.
In addition, customer-specific modifications to your Direct for NetSuite solution may cause the product to differ substantially from the Direct for NetSuite documentation.
