Verify global NetSuite settings
To use Direct in your environment, your NetSuite instance must already be configured with specific global settings.
To verify the required settings, complete the following steps in NetSuite.

Go to Setup > Company > Enable Features.

On the Company tab, under ERP General, verify that the check box for Multiple Units of Measure is enabled.

On the Items & Inventory tab, under Inventory, verify that the following check boxes are enabled.

Multi-Location Inventory

Advanced Bin/Numbered Inventory Management

Serialized Inventory
-
Lot Tracking
-
Bin Management
-
Inventory Count, for solutions using Advanced Inventory Count apps

If you plan to use the Work Order Issue or Work Order Complete apps, verify that the following check boxes are disabled.

Advanced Bill of Materials

Advanced Inventory Management

Manufacturing Routing and Work Center

Go to Setup > Accounting > Accounting Preferences.

If you plan to use the Inventory Adjustment or Advanced Inventory Count apps, on the General tab, under Classifications, verify that Make Departments Mandatory is disabled.

If you plan to use the Work Order Complete app, on the Order Management tab, under Fulfillment, verify that Manufacturing Issue Based On Commitment is set to either Ignore Commitment or Allow Uncommited.Step InformationNote:The Work Order Complete app in Direct is not compatible with the "Limit to Committed" selection for this setting.
